Keiki Athletes – Terms of Service and Participation Policies

By registering your child for a Keiki Athletes program, you acknowledge and agree to the following Terms of Service and Participation Policies.
1. Registration, Payment & Enrollment Requirements
Full payment is required at the time of registration to secure a spot. Spots are limited and filled on a first-come, first-served basis.No prorated tuition is offered for missed classes unless otherwise stated.
2. Participation, Safety & Liability
Keiki Athletes provides active sports and movement-based programs designed to promote fitness, teamwork, and confidence in a supervised school environment. We work closely with our instructors and school staff to ensure a safe and positive experience for all students.Parents/guardians acknowledge that participation in sports and physical activity involves inherent risks including, but not limited to, running, jumping, athletic drills, and the use of sports equipment. Keiki Athletes takes reasonable precautions to promote safety; however, by enrolling, you agree to release and hold harmless Keiki Athletes, its instructors, and partner schools from any liability, claims, or demands for personal injury, property damage, or loss, except where prohibited by law. Keiki Athletes reserves the right to modify program activities, adjust schedules or instructors, cancel or reschedule sessions, limit enrollment, or relocate classes as needed for operational or safety reasons.Parents/guardians acknowledge that their child is physically able to participate in the program activities.
3. Behavior Expectations & Dismissal Policy
Students are expected to:
Follow instructions from coaches, instructors, and school staff
Treat teammates, instructors, and equipment respectfully
Participate with good sportsmanship
Follow safety guidelines during drills and games
Avoid unsafe, aggressive, or intentionally harmful behaviorIf behavioral issues occur, Keiki Athletes may take the following steps:
Verbal warning and redirection
Parent communication and support plan
Temporary removal from class if necessary
Permanent dismissal if behavior continues or the issue is severe
Parents/guardians may be held financially responsible for the repair or replacement cost of any equipment, materials, or property that is damaged as a result of a student’s misuse, unsafe behavior, or fooling around.Keiki Athletes also reserves the right to remove a student from the program—without refund—if he or she engages in unsafe, aggressive, harmful, or disruptive behavior that endangers the safety, wellbeing, or learning environment of themselves or others. No refunds will be issued for dismissal due to behavioral reasons.
4. Attendance, Absences & Make-Up Classes
Keiki Athletes is unable to offer make-up classes or refunds for:
Student absences
Schedule conflicts that a student may have
If Keiki Athletes must cancel a class due to instructor absence, school closure, or emergencies, we will make adjustments or provide make-up options when possible.
5. Cancellations & Refunds
For semester classes: A full refund is available if cancellation is requested before the program begins or within the first three (3) classes. Upon the start of the 4th class, no refunds or credits will be issued for any reason other than a program cancellation by Keiki Athletes.No refunds are issued for student absences or scheduling conflicts. If Keiki Athletes cancels a session due to low enrollment or unforeseen circumstances, a full refund will be issued.To request a cancellation, please email aloha@keikiathletes.com with your child’s name and class information. Refunds are processed within 7–10 business days.
Day Classes (Single-Day Programs / Clinics / Camps):
Refunds are available up until 24 hours prior to the start of the program.
Because these programs require advance staffing and facility planning, no refunds will be issued within 24 hours of the program start time, including for absences or scheduling conflicts.
If Keiki Athletes cancels a program due to low enrollment, weather, or unforeseen circumstances, a full refund will be issued.
6. Pick-Up Policy
Parents/guardians must pick up their child promptly at the end of class. A grace period of 5 minutes is allowed. Repeated late pick-ups may result in late fees or dismissal from the program.
7. Photos, Media & Privacy
Keiki Athletes may occasionally capture photos or videos during practices or activities for educational or promotional purposes.By enrolling, you permit Keiki Athletes to use your child’s image in print, video, or digital media unless you notify us in writing prior to the program start date.No student names will be publicly shared without direct written permission. If you prefer your child not appear in any photos, please indicate this in the registration form or contact us directly.
8. Acknowledgment of Policies
By completing registration and submitting payment, you confirm that:
You have read and agree to these Terms of Service and Participation Policies
You understand the refund policy stated above
You agree to the behavior, safety, and attendance requirements
You verify your child is eligible to attend the program at their enrolled school
